Ambuja Cements Orient Cement Acquisition 2024

Ambuja Cements announced the acquisition of 4% shares in Orient Cement Limited at an equity value of Rs. 8,100 Cr, triggering a 26% open offer. The transaction includes 8.5 MTPA of operational cement capacity and 8.1 MTPA of ready-to-execute projects, positioning Ambuja to reach 100+ MTPA capacity by 2025.
