AppLovin MoPub Acquisition 2021

AppLovin announced a definitive agreement to acquire Twitter's MoPub business for $1.05 billion in cash. MoPub is an RTB exchange founded in 2010 that provides advertising solutions connecting buyers and sellers on mobile ads, with reach to over 1.5 billion devices. The acquisition is expected to add $240-$260 million in incremental annual software revenue run-rate by 2022, with minimal incremental costs, and close in 2022 subject to regulatory approval.
