New York , April 28, 2021: Blackstone Mortgage Trust , Inc. (NYSE:BXMT ) today reported its first quarter 2021 results .

Stephen D. Plavin, Chief Executive Officer, said , “BXMT’s first quarter demonstrated the strong momentum we have established

on both sides of the balance sheet. We closed $1.7 billion of high -quality new loans, growing our portfolio by nearly $700 million ,

and we continued to optimize and diversify our balance sheet, ideally positioning BXMT to capture the next wave of investment
