BP Acquisition of Archaea Energy 2022

BP announced its acquisition of Archaea Energy on 17 October 2022 as part of its strategy to transform into an integrated energy company. The deal aims to grow BP's transition growth engines, particularly renewable natural gas and bioenergy, with expectations to increase production five-fold by 2030 and deliver more than $500 million in EBITDA by 2025.
