GlobalFoundries STMicroelectronics Manufacturing Alliance 2022

GlobalFoundries and STMicroelectronics announced a strategic manufacturing partnership in July 2022 to expand semiconductor production capacity in Europe. The alliance targets growth markets including industrial/IoT and automotive, backed by government and customer funding with a modular footprint expansion planned through 2028.
