Grupo Pão de Açúcar 2Q16 Results July 2016

GPA reported 2Q16 results with net sales of R$16.7 billion and adjusted EBITDA of R$760 million. The company demonstrated solid performance across its food segment with 8.7% growth, strong Assaí expansion with 36.9% sales growth, and recovery in Extra banner within Multivarejo. Via Varejo also resumed growth with consistent market share gains.
