Meridian Energy announced its commitment to construct the Harapaki wind farm in the Hastings District, New Zealand, featuring 41 turbines totaling 176.3MW with a highly attractive levelized cost of energy. The project is strategically located on the Maungaharuru Range and addresses transmission constraints south of Wairakei, supporting the energy system's decarbonization transition.
