Nexi Acquisition Intesa Sanpaolo Merchant 2019

Nexi announced the acquisition of Intesa Sanpaolo's merchant acquiring business for €1.0 billion in cash, encompassing approximately 180,000 merchants and €66 billion in transaction volumes. The transaction includes a 25-year marketing and distribution agreement with Intesa Sanpaolo and is expected to be cash EPS accretive in the high teens from 2020, with closing anticipated before summer 2020.
