People's United Financial Q2 2016 Earnings Results

People's United Financial reported Q2 2016 net income of $68.5 million with earnings per share of $0.23. The bank achieved loan growth of $528 million at a 7% annualized rate, while maintaining net interest income of $240 million and improving its efficiency ratio to 60.4%.
