Ping An Insurance 2022 9M Results October Earnings

Ping An Insurance reported 9M 2022 operating profit of RMB123.3 billion, up 3.8% YoY, with annualized operating ROE of 19.9%. The diversified financial services group grew retail customers to 228 million and expanded its property & casualty, banking, and healthcare ecosystem businesses. Life insurance operating profit rose 17.4% YoY to RMB86.5 billion, supported by improved agent productivity and policy persistency.
