Santen Pharmaceutical Q2 FY2016 Earnings Results November 2016

Santen Pharmaceutical announced Q2 fiscal 2016 consolidated results for the six-month period ended September 30, 2016, with flat revenue of 97.8 billion yen while core net profit grew 2% year-on-year. Strong overseas growth in EMEA (27%) and China (15%) on local currency basis offset yen appreciation impact. The company maintained full-year forecasts and announced a share repurchase program of up to 13 billion yen.
