SES Doubles US Government Business with $450M DRS Acquisition 2022

SES announced a $450M acquisition of DRS Global Enterprise Solutions to expand its US Government satellite communications offerings. The deal doubles SES's revenue in the high-value government segment, adding over $250M in annual GES revenue and ~$25M in expected annual EBITDA synergies. The combined entity will leverage SES's multi-orbit fleet to provide integrated satcom solutions across US Government land, sea, and air operations.
