Shangri-La Asia 2022 Annual Results Presentation

Shangri-La Asia reported full-year positive operating PATMI in 2022 despite Mainland China challenges, with consolidated revenue of USD1,462mn (+17.8% YoY) driven by hotel recovery in regions where travel restrictions were lifted. The group opened new properties in Saudi Arabia and China, maintained a healthy USD766mn cash position, and signed USD1.3bn+ in sustainability-linked loans, while total PATMI was impacted by FX losses from Sri Lankan Rupee depreciation.
